Compare the2027 Audi e-tron GT VS 2026 Cadillac Celestiq

The e-tron GT’s pre-crash front seatbelts will tighten automatically in the event the vehicle detects an impending crash, improving protection against injury significantly. The Celestiq doesn’t offer pre-crash pretensioners.

The e-tron GT has a standard Secondary Collision Brake Assist, which automatically applies the brakes in the event of a crash to help prevent secondary collisions and prevent further injuries. The Celestiq doesn’t offer a post collision braking system: in the event of a collision that triggers the airbags, more collisions are possible without the protection of airbags that may have already deployed.

Both the e-tron GT and the Celestiq have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, all-wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors and rear cross-path warning.

The e-tron GT’s corrosion warranty is 6 years longer than the Celestiq’s (12 vs. 6 years).

Audi pays for scheduled maintenance on the e-tron GT for 3 years and 30,000 miles. Audi will pay for cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance (up to 3 visits). Cadillac only pays for the first scheduled maintenance visit on the Celestiq.

From surveys of all its subscribers, Consumer Reports’ March 2026 Auto Issue reports that Audi vehicles are more reliable than Cadillac vehicles. Consumer Reports ranks Audi 5 places higher in reliability than Cadillac.

The e-tron GT’s electric motors produces 257 more horsepower (912 vs. 655) and 91 lbs.-ft. more torque (737 vs. 646) than the Celestiq’s electric motors.

The e-tron GT has a standard locking charge port, which locks and unlocks with the power locks. The Celestiq doesn’t have a locking charge port. A locking charge port prevents tampering and damage.

For better stopping power the e-tron GT’s brake rotors are larger than those on the Celestiq:

The e-tron GT offers optional heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The Celestiq doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.

For better traction and acceleration, the e-tron GT has larger rear tires than the Celestiq (305/30R21 vs. 285/35R23).

The e-tron GT’s 265/35R21 front and 305/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Celestiq’s standard 40 series tires. The e-tron GT’s tires are lower profile than the Celestiq’s optional 35 series tires.

For better maneuverability, the e-tron GT’s turning circle is 5.5 feet tighter than the Celestiq’s (38.1 feet vs. 43.6 feet).

The Audi e-tron GT may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 1750 pounds less than the Cadillac Celestiq.

The e-tron GT is 1 foot, 8.5 inches shorter than the Celestiq, making the e-tron GT easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The e-tron GT has standard seating for 5 passengers; the Celestiq can only carry 4.

The e-tron GT’s standard rear seats fold to accommodate long and bulky cargo. The Celestiq doesn’t offer folding rear seats.

To make loading groceries and cargo easier when your hands are full, the e-tron GT’s trunk can be opened and closed just by kicking your foot under the back bumper, leaving your hands completely free. The Celestiq doesn’t offer a hands-free gesture to open its liftgate, forcing you to put cargo down if your hands are full.

A Service Interval Display is standard on the e-tron GT to save the owner time and money by calculating maintenance intervals for vehicle inspections, vehicle inspection based on odometer mileage. This takes the guesswork out of keeping your vehicle in top condition and helps it last longer. Cadillac doesn’t offer a maintenance reminder on the Celestiq.

The e-tron GT Prestige/RS has a standard heads-up display that projects speed in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The Celestiq doesn’t offer a heads-up display.

Laser headlights, standard on the e-tron GT Prestige/RS, produce their light by firing blue lasers through phosphorus, a process that uses one-half the power of the Celestiq’s LED headlights. Laser headlights can have double the range of LEDs with a much smaller surface area.
